You can leave this page, pretend you never saw this, and do absolutely nothing.
And you know what?
Some people will do just that.
Just like they do with every good opportunity that comes across their desk.
They pray for "a break" and complain about life, but never do anything about it.
The world is full of these people, and you know what, the world actually needs them.
They are the consumers.
They are the "workforce" who trades time for money and bags groceries, serves food, and washes cars.
They are the people who are too skeptical and think everything is "too good to be true."
They are also the people who think everything is "too expensive" and they're always haggling people down on price.
Sure, they lack resources, but they really lack resourcefulness.
They have a lack vs an abundance mindset. In other words, the glass is always half-empty vs half-full with these people.
They're the people who need to think about everything.
They say maybe to everything.
Maybe tomorrow.
Maybe next month.
Maybe after I talk to my wife, dog, neighbor...
you get the point.
And here's the truth:
I don't dislike those people. I don't look down on them. I don't think they're any less deserving of happiness than anyone else.
They're just the category of people who will enroll in our Challenge, go through all the valuable training, see all the success that everyone else is having, and then say "good for them, but that could never happen for me."
They have an excuse for everything. Nothing is their fault. And the only person who can help their situation is a politician or a boss. That's why they complain about how bad the "system" is and how corrupt the government is and how much they hate their boss.
But they never ... do ... anything about it.
They never ... do ... anything to take back control of their life.
They never ... do ... anything to learn new skills & be willing to implement them.
They'd rather wait bitterly for a few dollar raise from a boss they hate and continue to do the same, safe thing because someone along the way, probably early in life, taught them that limiting belief that life isn't fair, suck it up, keep quiet, and keep saying "yes, boss."
And no matter what I say or do here on this page, I can't change that person's mind.
They're actually addicted to their pain and struggle.
It's a part of their identity.
A great example of this phenomenon is all the people who win the lotto are broke just years later.
Because they didn't want to change their bad habits.
They didn't want to learn how to protect and grow their new found wealth.
So they squandered it just like they did with everything else before they "won" the big prize.
This is one of my favorite "memes" because it so accurately describes what I'm talking about.
